Mary Squires at the NFD October 13!
The Office of Insurance Commissioner affects the lives and businesses of all Georgians by regulating insurance, fire safety, and small loan institutions. You and your business deserve a candidate who believes in public service. You deserve a candidate with experience and a plan. You deserve a candidate who is ready now.
As a young woman Mary Squires enlisted as a Private in our Armed Forces. She worked hard, became an officer, and after 10 years was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. She trained and served in law enforcement; communications; and nuclear, biological, and chemical warfare. She believes in public service.
After leaving the Army, she ran for my first elected office and won. She served for four years in the Georgia House of Representatives and two years in the Georgia Senate. She fought for expanded health benefits; health benefit tax breaks for employers and employees; and the consumers’ right to quality, low-cost health care.
Join Mary Squires at the October meeting of the North Fulton Democrats, Oct. 13, 2009, at 7:30PM.
